About The Role

Site supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of finished works and reporting relevant site activities. They oversee site personnel and subcontractors, plan work to be done safely and ensure adherence to health and safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Health and Safety

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the Company's Safety Statement.
  • Know the requirements of HSE/HSA Legislation and observe them on site.
  • Review and brief RAMS regularly.
  • Do not allow operatives to take unnecessary risks.

Site Management

  • Incorporate safety instructions in routine orders.
  • Feed into and help prepare RAMS with the site agents/project managers.
  • Select the correct construction methodology.

Employee Induction

  • Induce new employees particularly apprentices and young people, on site rules and methods of working.
  • Ensure they are aware of safety precautions.

Reporting

  • Report immediately any defects or plant/equipment issues.
  • Report any accidents however minor to supervision immediately.

Leadership

  • Set a personal example by wearing protective clothing and carrying out your own work safely.
  • L ook for ways of eliminating hazards.

About You

  • 5 years relevant construction experience.
  • Commitment to carry out the project safely and in an environmentally friendly way.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Authorized to work in Ireland i.e. stamp 4 visa or critical skills.
