Job Title: Community Employment Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Employment Supervisor to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient direction and coordination of human, financial, and material resources.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administration:
    • Provide an efficient and effective financial and accounting system in line with sound accounting procedures and conventions.
    • Prepare financial returns, including wage claims, materials claims, and Participant Development Grant claims.
    • Manage cash flow, creditors, and general ledgers, participants payroll, bank account, and PRSI returns.
  • Training & Development:
    • Identify learner needs and source cost-effective training opportunities to meet those needs.
    • Agree on individual learning plans and implement approved training and development opportunities.
    • Maintain training records for each participant as part of their Individual Learner Plans.
  • Human Resources:
    • Communicate effectively with all participants using Team Meetings and one-to-one meetings.
    • Develop mutual understanding with participants regarding their needs and backgrounds.
    • Deal with disciplinary matters relating to participants.
  • Community Employment:
    • Execute the Community Employment Procedures Manual.
    • Ensure work areas meet housekeeping standards and provide a safe and healthy environment for participants.
    • Recruit, supervise, schedule, and support participants to ensure best returns to Sponsor.
