Procurement Excellence Manager Job Description

This role requires a strategic thinker to optimize our supply chain processes and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The successful candidate will play a key part in developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement within the procurement function.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mechanical Services, be able to evaluate mechanical drawings and specifications, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet operational needs while optimizing costs and ensuring quality and reliability of supply.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, establishing strong relationships and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide procurement support and guidance throughout the purchasing process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the Construction Industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
