Job Overview

: As a Lead Software Engineer, you will drive the strategic technical direction of applications and architectures, pushing the boundaries of analytics and powerful, scalable systems. You will champion innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical decision-making for applications and architectures
• Develop and maintain data models to enable performant products
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems
• Partner with Product Managers and Customer Experience Designers to define roadmaps and plan releases

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in agile production environments
• Strong leadership skills and ability to empower teams
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, preferably Java or Spring
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, such as React with Redux or Typescript
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, RESTful APIs, JSON/SOAP based API, SQL, Multi-threading, Message Queuing, and cloud native development using microservices
• Data engineering or data science background with strong understanding of data pipelines and architecture
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and alerting solutions
• Superior academic record with a degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Certifications and Qualifications

• Corporate Security Responsibility: Abide by security policies and practices; ensure confidentiality and integrity of information being accessed; report any suspected information security violation or breach, and complete all periodic mandatory security trainings
