Strategic Technical Lead

**Job Description:**
">We are seeking an experienced Strategic Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will have the opportunity to lead the definition and execution of strategic initiatives. You will work independently, driving project progress and providing assessments of project risks and challenges to inform resource allocation and prioritization.
">Responsibilities:
">- Lead strategic initiatives, building both back-end and front-end systems, and collaborating with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts.
- Cross-functional leadership, mentoring other engineers, and partnering closely with Group Engineering Managers on technical strategy and leadership.
- Contribute to our technical architecture as we grow, ensuring scalability, availability, and agility.
- Drive continuous deployment, focusing on incremental releases, feature flagging, and rapid prototyping.
- Active role in hiring, mentoring, and career development of other engineers, raising technical standards and operational excellence.
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you should have:
">- Significant experience as the primary technical leader for a team, with a proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
- Deep knowledge of high-level programming languages, such as Ruby, Python, or Perl, and experience with Distributed systems.
- Collaboration skills, working directly with technical leaders, product teams, and designers.
- Strong understanding of software development, including ideation, prototyping, design, and implementation.
- Ability to contribute to all phases of software development, playing an active role in hiring, mentoring, and career development.
