Our organization seeks a visionary Automation Test Architect/Manager to lead complex medium-scale projects with diverse scope. This key role involves leveraging technical expertise in data analysis and programming tools to set standards for assignments and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee technical areas of complex medium-scale projects with diverse scope.
  • Establish standards for data analysis and programming tools, advise on selection of appropriate methods, and ensure compliance.
  • Manage the application of data analysis and data modelling techniques to establish, modify or maintain data structures and their components.
  • Provide solutions and use appropriate tools to contribute to the system architecture development.
  • Prepare technical plans and offer advice on technical aspects of system development and integration.
  • Determine criteria for assessing issues and opportunities and identify relationships between different information sources.
  • Anticipate potential problems and develop solutions needed to resolve them.
  • Create quality engineering procedures and user instructions to ensure a reusable process and tools approach.
  • Define and implement quality engineering process improvements and metrics.
  • Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects or release level.
  • Contribute to proof of concept exercises and assist sales with pre-sales collateral.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Desired Skills:
  • Additional course or certification in Quality Engineering
  • Certification in NFT Tools (e.g., HP QTP, Selenium, HP LR)
  • Unified Functional Tester (UFT)
Experience:
  • Strong experience in Tricentis Tosca
  • SAP experience – SD, MM, FI, and PS modules as applicable
  • Strong knowledge in quality engineering methodologies focused on Automation, CI/CD and DevOps concepts
  • Extensive tool/framework knowledge and recognised expertise in several areas
  • Experience advising clients on benefits of quality engineering solutions
  • Specialisation in multiple automation tools and approaches (UI, API, Middleware) such as Selenium, Playwright, UFT, Tosca, Ready API, Rest Assured, Postman, Karate
  • Expertise with ancillary tool sets for management, CI/CD, source control (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, Solman, qTest, GitHub)
