As a Business Development Representative, your primary goal is to drive the acquisition of new logo and expansion business by prospecting and nurturing leads within your assigned territory.
You will use your exceptional communication and research skills to identify potential buyers, qualify them through discovery calls, and transition them to dedicated Account Executives for further development and closure of new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and gather insights on target industries, organizations, and decision-makers to inform effective outreach strategies.
- Develop and manage outreach campaigns across various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media, to engage with prospective clients and foster meaningful relationships.
- Qualify leads by conducting personalized discovery calls to evaluate prospect needs, budget, and alignment with our solutions.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of our products and services, leveraging marketing collateral and content to educate prospects and enhance outreach efforts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing-generated leads, ensuring rapid and effective responses to inquiries received via various marketing channels.
- Collaborate closely with the dedicated Account Executive in your territory to ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity records of prospect interactions, ensuring data hygiene and enrichment in Salesforce.
- Stay informed about the Qstream platform to support introductory conversations and provide light product overviews.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota and targets.
- Proven success in a previous sales or customer-facing role, or a strong willingness to start a sales career.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesloft or similar sales engagement tools.
- Self-motivated and collaborative mindset.
- Skilled in objection handling.
- Highly coachable with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Prior knowledge of B2B sales processes and best practices is an asset.
