Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead our cloud engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable applications and platform services across SAP BTP, AWS, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy scalable applications and platform services on cloud platforms.
  • Drive reliability engineering initiatives, including infrastructure automation, service monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with application and platform teams to define and enforce architectural best practices, CI/CD standards, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Diagnose complex production issues through in-depth troubleshooting and implement resilient solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools that improve observability, system health, and operational transparency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in a cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE role.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native application design and operations on platforms like SAP BTP, AWS, or GCP.
  • Proficient in infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Strong experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with open platforms such as Kyma or Cloud Foundry is a plus.
