Job Title: Payroll Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and auto-enrolment compliance for a portfolio of clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll processing, pensions, benefits, and statutory payments, as well as the ability to manually calculate payroll with high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee payroll processing, compliance, and ERR submissions.
  • Maintain client relationships and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Review payrolls, ensure accuracy, and streamline processes.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and assist the Payroll Manager.
  • Stay updated through regular training on legislative and system changes.
  • Handle client queries and generate financial/operational reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of payroll experience (EuroPay or similar system).
  • IPASS qualification preferred; payroll bureau experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, pensions, benefits, and statutory payments.
  • Ability to manually calculate payroll with high accuracy.
  • Excellent multitasking, client management, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment regulations.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
