The Role

  • As a Project Planner and Scheduler, you will support project managers and engineers in developing comprehensive project schedules that encompass full project scope, milestones, and timelines.
  • You will collaborate with project teams to review schedule progress, identify variances, programme impacts, and propose corrective actions.
  • You will advise project teams on programme risks and opportunities, providing clear production and site-derived information.
  • You will report schedule progress to internal and external stakeholders by developing and presenting concise programme presentations to clients and project teams.
  • You will develop tools and effectively communicate programme methodology and key milestones.
  • You will monitor trends across projects.
  • You will engage with the commercial and PM team on matters arising during contract execution that may cause financial exposure, reporting these to support the commercial team's justifications.
  • You will advise PM and Mission Critical management on resourcing levels and required programme outputs.
  • You will aid the Resourcing Manager in the development of and participation in Planning Systems and Procedures.
  • You will aid MCS leaders in the development of schedules and resourcing for the purpose of RFQs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, integrate, and manage schedules on diverse projects, utilizing your significant experience in leading and managing project schedules through their full life cycle.
  • You will work with multi-discipline engineering, design, production, procurement, quality, and commissioning teams.

Requirements

  • Able to work five days a week in the office.
  • Minimum three years' experience in planning/scheduling within construction, factory/operations, pharmaceutical projects.
  • Excellent communication and strong people skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
