Purchasing Analyst Role Overview

The Purchasing Analyst plays a pivotal role in the procurement team, overseeing end-to-end purchase requisitions from inception to completion. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sourcing, and Accounts Payable, to ensure timely and accurate processing of requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in procurement software for domestic and international users.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement policies by ensuring accuracy and alignment when creating PRs.
  • Provide high-level customer service by resolving PRs efficiently and communicating effectively throughout the process.
  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline the requisition workflow, and improve user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Willingness to work virtually and in-person, and participate in company events.
  • Internship experience in a business or related field and/or a project portfolio that supports your application.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Exposure to enterprise software or related systems.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Independent thinking, relationship, and project management, and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and leadership skills.
