Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned procurement expert to manage purchasing and inventory control for a prominent hardware and building supplies business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor records, pricing files, and stock orders with utmost accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, resolve supplier inquiries, and oversee returns processing.
  • Sources new products, coordinates promotional activities with suppliers and marketing teams, and expands product offerings.
  • Nurtures strong relationships with suppliers through regular meetings and effective negotiation.
  • Analyzes purchasing reports, streamlines procurement processes, and applies sound judgment in supplier selection.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • Superior negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Audacious analytical, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
