Job Title: Child Protection Team Leader

We are recruiting for a motivated and experienced social worker to lead our child protection team in North Dublin city. As a key member of our service, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of social workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and families.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective child protection practices.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification as a social worker and eligibility for registration with CORU.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience working as a social worker, with some supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience and an interest in working in children and families services, including child protection and relevant legislation.
  • A full clean driver's licence and police clearance for any country worked in for 6 months or more.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Benefits:

This is a permanent part-time position, offering a competitive salary between €35,139 - €40,532 depending on experience, plus generous annual leave and public holiday entitlements.
