
Guest Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front Desk Ambassador to join our team in a unique four-star hotel.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience working in hospitality environments, offering the highest level of service to our guests.
The successful candidate will report to the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager, supporting/working towards providing excellent service, working as a team with colleagues, and ensuring the guest is offered the highest standards in service and care, anticipating their needs and being attentive at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional guest service in the Reception Area, exceeding agreed standards at all times.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Front Office as directed by the Front Office Manager & Assistant Manager.
- Welcome all guests to the hotel, address queries before, during and after the guest's stay to maximize sales throughout the hotel.
- Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handle enquiries via the telephone and at the Front Desk, adhere to procedures regarding cash handling and key management, manage reservations when necessary.
- Familiarize yourself with current Front Office SOPs and understand current standards.
- Swiftly resolve guest issues, escalating complaints to the FOM, Asst FOM or DM if required.
- Precisely prepare upselling trackers, compile totals for Management review.
- Stay informed about daily operations and events, brief the team as needed.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of department products, be aware of total hotel facilities.
- Nurture effective working relationships with colleagues and managers.
- Show pride and commitment to work areas.
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Attend appraisal/assessments as required.
- Participate in Hotel and Departmental Meetings as required, fostering effective communication at all levels.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment.
- Previous experience in hospitality environments is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Team-oriented attitude and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
