Job Title: Experienced Accounting Professional

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team, responsible for preparing year-end company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in reconciling balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles is essential for posting journals onto accounting software accurately.
  • The successful candidate will also assist in the preparation of management accounts and ensure compliance with statutory financial statements deadlines.
  • Additional responsibilities include supporting year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end journals and assisting in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
  • Liaising with clients over the phone and through written correspondence is also an important aspect of this role.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in general accounting practice is required.
  • The ideal candidate will be part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant or equivalent.
  • Strong technical abilities, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Highly organized individuals with excellent planning abilities and proficient in both written and spoken English are preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite are also advantageous.
