Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to oversee end-to-end sourcing operations for ancillary products, including cell site racks and cable management tools. The successful candidate will analyze and optimize sourcing processes by reviewing the company's spending, building strategic partnerships, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage passive product suppliers and maintain contracts on ARIBA.
  • Develop and implement category management strategies with business partners.
  • Analyze and calculate annual spend and cost savings opportunities.
  • Prepare and negotiate supplier agreements.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers and secure profitable deals.
  • Lead RFX projects for product tenders and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Optimize sourcing procedures for maximum efficiency.
  • Build and foster relationships with US team stakeholders and peers.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, as well as pricing benchmarking.
  • Identify supply risks and apply risk-minimizing techniques.
  • Discover and partner with trusted suppliers.
  • Execute projects from beginning to end with emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Summarize and present scope of work and supplier selection solutions to clients.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of sourcing experience in the electronic manufacturing or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record as a sourcing expert with demonstrated activities and results.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present to senior management.
  • Contracting experience - drafting, negotiating, and execution.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint and reporting tools.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage).
  • BSc degree in supply chain management, business administration, or other appropriate qualification.

This role requires a mid-senior level professional with a strong background in sourcing and category management.
