Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in overseeing the development of health and safety policies and programs, with excellent communication skills and flexibility to travel across multiple sites.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date records related to health, safety, and compliance.
  • Investigate and manage reports of accidents and incidents, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Address health and safety issues in an efficient and professional manner, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a high level of health and safety awareness.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in construction safety, preferably in a similar regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel across multiple sites, with a willingness to work varied hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
