
Community Care Specialist

We are currently seeking to recruit a skilled and dedicated professional to support our pharmacies in Athlone & Offaly. The selected candidate will be part of a team that specializes in delivering exceptional care to the community.
The role requires the successful candidate to ensure that we consistently deliver high-quality care to patients. This includes assisting the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will work with the team to find care solutions for customers and patients, assist in the professional and financial running of the pharmacy, participate in staff training events, and report on store and employee performance.
Requirements- All applicants must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or be eligible to register immediately.
- Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage, but full training will be provided to those coming from other backgrounds.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with excellent people skills, confidence, and demonstrable clinical knowledge are ideal candidates for this role. Excellent communication skills and awareness of customer needs are also essential. The selected candidate should have a key focus on patients and customers, ensuring exemplary face-to-face interactions. A highly organized individual who can work under pressure, a positive attitude, commitment, loyalty, and a collaborative spirit are also required.
The ideal candidate will utilize their experience and knowledge of prescription schemes and eligibility requirements to assist patients in accessing the medicine they need and minimizing waste through accurate claiming. Passion, drive, and motivation are also essential qualities for success in this role.
