We are seeking a dedicated and strategic leader to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. This position requires strong communication skills, vision, and a deep understanding of nursing practice.

The successful candidate will provide leadership support, build capacity in nursing and midwifery, and enhance patient care and service delivery.

  • Develop and implement nursing strategies that align with our overall mission and goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years post-registration nursing experience and 3 years nursing management experience at a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 level in an acute setting.
  • Annual registration with NMBI and confirmation of annual registration with HSE via PSAC.
  • Good character and full competence to undertake duties attached to the office.
