Job Title: Civil Design Professional

About the Role:
In this role, you will be involved in the design and delivery of various projects including multi-storey residential developments, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational campuses, and bespoke architectural structures. Your responsibilities will include structural analysis, preparing detailed design calculations and drawings, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver complex structural projects by analyzing requirements, developing concepts, and implementing solutions.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations and drawings using industry-standard software to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising architects, contractors, and engineers to achieve project objectives.
  • Contribute to sustainable design practices and modern construction methods to reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:
  • Possess a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 or higher) to demonstrate technical expertise.
  • Hold at least 2 years of experience in structural design to showcase practical knowledge.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in structural analysis and design software to streamline workflow.
  • Show a solid understanding of Eurocodes and Irish Building Regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration.
  • Bonus points for being chartered or working towards chartership.
