Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and modelling MEP services, working well within a collaborative environment, and having a strong background in the construction industry.

This role requires someone who is proficient in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, CADWorx, Plant 3D, Dynamo, and common data environment administration.

In addition, they must have a solid understanding of project-specific BIM documentation and be able to develop more efficient ways of working through the use of existing tools and automation.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in a subject related to the construction industry, recognised qualification in Building Information Modelling, and a minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating MEP systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing MEP models from base information using relevant BIM software, setting up MEP BIM models in compliance with company standard operating procedures, developing MEP BIM models throughout construction, and coordinating MEP models with models of other trades.

You will also work alongside site teams and engineers to complete and incorporate as-built mark-ups for handover of Project Information Model (PIM), assign asset information to models for handover of Asset Information Model (AIM), and investigate and develop more efficient ways of working through the use of existing tools and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce MEP models from base information using relevant BIM software
  • Set up MEP BIM models in compliance with company standard operating procedures
  • Develop MEP BIM models throughout construction to include G.A. drawings, plans, and sections as required
  • Coordinate MEP models with models of other trades
  • Work alongside site team and engineers to complete and incorporate as-built mark-ups for handover of Project Information Model (PIM)
  • Assign asset information to models for handover of Asset Information Model (AIM)
  • Read, interpret, and understand relationship between project-specific BIM documentation
  • Investigate and develop more efficient ways of working through use of existing tools and automation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a subject related to the construction industry
  • Recognised qualification in Building Information Modelling
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating MEP systems
  • Full, clean driver's license
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, CADWorx, Plant 3D, Dynamo, and common data environment administration
