About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Therapist to provide high-quality care to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a supportive hospital environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing treatment plans, and delivering interventions for inpatients and outpatients. Collaboration as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential in delivering holistic care.

Prior experience in speech therapy, strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, along with certification and competence in dysphagia assessment and management, are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality speech and language therapy services to adults in an acute and rehabilitation setting.
  • Complete assessments and develop treatment plans for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • Support service development and contribute to team initiatives.
Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in Speech Therapy.
  • Registration (or eligibility to register) with CORU as a Speech Therapist.
  • Certification and competence in dysphagia assessment and management.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
