Director of Sales Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as Director of Sales. This is a unique opportunity to lead the on-property sales team and drive revenue growth across all market segments.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic commercial plans to source, drive and grow revenue. You will work closely with the General Manager and Revenue team to monitor results and adjust strategies to meet objectives and targets.

You will also manage and lead the sales team from recruitment and induction through to team development, encouraging a high-performing environment that delivers on objectives. Close working relationships with regional and brand leads for Sales, Revenue and Brand will be essential in fostering strong working relationships with the wider Sales Team.

A key aspect of this role will be providing local market knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and taking ownership for pre-opening sales strategies and the sales critical path. Collaboration with key teams such as Hotel Operations, Brand, Revenue, Digital, Graphics & PR will ensure key information and insights are shared and strong relationships are built to drive top-line revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic commercial plans to drive revenue growth
  • Manage and lead the sales team to achieve objectives
  • Provide local market knowledge to stay ahead of the competition
  • Take ownership for pre-opening sales strategies and the sales critical path
  • Collaborate with key teams to drive top-line revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in a senior sales role preferably within the Irish Market
  • Passionate about hotel sales and goal-driven
  • Strong team leader with ability to introduce structured ways of working into a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and solution-focused approach
  • Excellent relationship builder with ability to work with other teams and leaders
