Agribusiness Development Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate to join our agribusiness team in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in business development, customer sales, farm development and advisory services.

  • You will gain experience across the agribusiness category, including business development, branch sales and direct customer engagement.
  • You will work closely with the wider commercial teams to advance your technical experience and develop new sales and innovation strategies.
  • You will develop areas such as on-farm nutritional consultancy, technical advisory and project management.
  • You will also be involved in aspects of retail operations and management, customer service, people management, category management and logistics.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Gaining experience in business development and customer sales.
  • Working closely with the wider commercial teams to advance technical experience and develop new sales and innovation strategies.
  • Developing areas such as on-farm nutritional consultancy, technical advisory and project management.
  • Contributing to aspects of retail operations and management, customer service, people management, category management and logistics.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A high academic record in agricultural science, agribusiness or a related discipline, with a minimum of a 2.2 honors degree.
  • Strong technical knowledge and customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Ambition to progress successfully in a career in agribusiness in an exciting, ever-changing and challenging environment.
  • Ability to think commercially and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a desire to continually learn and grow.
