Care Leadership Role

We are seeking an exceptional Care Manager to join our team in Waterford. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to vulnerable individuals.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Care Manager with experience in home care or community care sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in providing top-notch care to clients in your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient and effective management of carer on-boarding, carer rosters, carer training/development, and overall carer welfare.
  • Deliver Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training, ensuring Carers are sufficiently prepared and trained in advance of providing care.
  • Monitor all daily activities using One Touch Care Management software, prioritizing safeguarding and compliance at every level.
  • Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding Scheduling runs, Client Care, and HSE communication.
  • IDentify, monitor, and manage training needs within your team, implementing a career development path aligned with our HR strategy.
Requirements
  • QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
  • 3-5 years' experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
  • Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
