Accommodation Department Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accommodation Department Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our accommodation services.

This senior role will involve managing a team, overseeing daily tasks, and ensuring high-quality standards across all departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the accommodation department
  • Supervising staff in maintaining guest bedrooms and public areas to exceptional standards
  • Capturing training and development opportunities for staff members
  • Creating staffing rotas that align with business requirements
  • Evaluating health and safety practices and hygiene protocols within the accommodation sector

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience in hospitality management, specifically in large hotels (4/5 stars). This position requires strong leadership skills, effective organizational abilities, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and proficient IT skills. It also demands industry-related qualifications and expert-level communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. A background in hospitality management would be beneficial.

The working hours for this position may require evening and weekend shifts. Therefore, flexibility is crucial when applying for this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar hotel environment
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail
  • Advanced IT, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Hospitality or industry-related qualification advantageous

Working Conditions:

This position entails occasional evenings and weekends; therefore, adaptability and flexibility are required.
