This position involves handling daily claims post notifications, processing, and phone enquiries. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with claims authority levels, binders, and reporting requirements.
The selected candidate will be responsible for logging all notifications, reserve amendments, and payments in line with month-end deadlines. Additionally, they will assist in preparing monthly insurer reports and maintaining accurate payment records.
This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with customers, brokers, and third parties to deliver excellent service. The successful candidate will also appoint and coordinate approved repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, and other experts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily claims post notifications, processing, and phone enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with claims authority levels, binders, and reporting requirements.
- Log all notifications, reserve amendments, and payments in line with month-end deadlines.
- Assist in preparing monthly insurer reports and maintaining accurate payment records.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' FNOL claims handling experience.
- APA qualified (or grandfathered) - CIP qualification in progress is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, insurance regulations, and motor legislation.
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
