Financial Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Specialist to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with implementation and upgrades of financial systems, investigation and resolution of queries, collaboration with IT teams, and daily validation checks.
  • They will also be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT Returns, quarterly VIES Returns, and annual Third-Party Returns.
  • Ongoing processing and importation of charges into the financial system will be a key task.
  • In addition, ad-hoc reporting requests including new report development will be required.

Requirements:

  • A third-level degree in a relevant subject is essential.
  • At least two years' experience working with financial systems is necessary.
  • Prior exposure to legal or professional service financial management systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Excel, SSRS, and T-SQL is beneficial.
  • Experience in the professional services sector is an advantage.
  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, numerical, and analytical skills are required.
