Business Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to drive new business development across the Connacht territory.

  • This field-based role offers autonomy to manage your own agenda, follow up on leads, and grow a strong presence across hotels, restaurants, and other on-trade venues.
About The Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, ideally within hospitality, on-trade, or FMCG.

  • Genuine passion for wine, food, and quality products is essential.
  • A natural deal-closer with strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to thrive with autonomy in a field-based role.
  • Competent with IT systems (Microsoft Office; social media marketing an advantage).
  • Full, clean driving licence.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Drive new business development across the Connacht territory.
  2. Manage and grow existing accounts, delivering excellent customer service.
  3. Build a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, social media, and proactive outreach.
  4. Represent premium, specialist products with knowledge and enthusiasm.
  5. Work closely with senior management to hit and exceed sales targets.
