General Insurance Actuarial Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled General Insurance Actuarial Professional to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outputs and providing valuable insights into profitability and capital metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solvency II Reporting and Analysis: You will be responsible for calculating Solvency II Technical Provisions and Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) as well as producing Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs) and supporting Solvency II returns.
  • Actuarial Function Report: You will contribute to the Actuarial Function Report, including ORSA, Underwriting, and Reinsurance Opinions, and provide insight into profitability metrics under IFRS17 and Solvency II.
  • Capital Projections and Scenario Testing: You will support capital projections and scenario testing for planning and strategic reviews, utilizing your analytical skills and expertise in non-life reserving and capital modelling.
Requirements:
  • Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary (IFoA or equivalent)
  • Experience in general insurance with exposure to Solvency II reporting
  • Strong understanding of non-life reserving and capital modelling
  • Excellent Analytical and Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; Familiarity with R is a plus
