Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with all activities of daily living and enabling them to live independent lives in line with HIQA national standards.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and support to service users, promoting their physical and emotional well-being. You will work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean living environment, ensuring that all areas of the residential home are tidy and well-maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification within the healthcare sector at minimum Level 5
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues
  • A full clean manual driving license and access to own transport
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards and best practices in social care
