Social care is a vital sector that requires dedicated professionals to support adults with intellectual disabilities in community-based settings. This role involves assisting individuals with independent living skills and promoting community integration.

We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified professionals to work in residential services based in Kilkenny. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as a strong understanding of person-centred care and planning.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare or similar qualification
  • At least 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Working knowledge of HIQA regulations and experience adhering to National Standard policies
  • Experience and understanding of person-centred care and planning
  • Ability to follow plans and methods to meet individuals' ongoing needs
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • A full driver's license and own car are essential requirements
