Chief Care Leader

As a forward-thinking Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nursing home by providing exceptional leadership and implementing innovative practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting internal audits and following up on results to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Implementing induction programs and ongoing training and development of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Encouraging innovative practice and adhering to HIQA standards to drive excellence in care provision.
- Establishing strong relationships with external community agencies to foster collaborative working arrangements.
- Liaising with stakeholders to maximize opportunities for the home and drive business growth.
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and regular fire training and evacuation plans to ensure a safe working environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years management experience in care of the older person.
- Post registration management qualification in health or related field.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills are essential. Sound decision making ability and results driven attitude are also required. Ability to work well under pressure and promote a positive team environment is necessary for success in this role.
