About This Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the nursing department, providing strategic direction and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Leadership and mentorship of a skilled team to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance with regulatory standards and promotion of a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in elderly care within the last 6 years.
  • Certification with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • A post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
  • Desirable: postgraduate diploma in Gerontology.
  • Working knowledge of HIQA standards and guidelines.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Sound decision-making ability and results-driven approach.
