We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in cloud computing platforms, automation tools and software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including experience with AWS, GCP or Azure, Jenkins, CloudBees and Spinnaker.

They should also be proficient in infrastructure provisioning and automation tools like Terraform, and have experience with development, build and deployment processes for workloads.

In addition, they should have good hands-on experience with containerisation technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling developers to create, test and deploy software applications using the Autodesk developer tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Help application teams standardise service deployment configuration and process
  • Help application teams accelerate deployment duration
  • Work closely with application teams to get onboarded to internal developer platforms
  • Provide technical support to developers using platform services
  • Assist developers in building and deploying their applications
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve problems
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform meets their needs
  • Maintain documentation and training materials for the platform

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 + years managing resources within cloud computing platforms
  • 5+ years of experience automating the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning and automation tools
  • Good hands-on experience with containerisation technologies
  • Monitoring & Observability: Proficient with Dynatrace (APM) and SonarQube (code quality)
  • Artefact repository management tools required
  • Good inter-team communication, coordination and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or involvement in open-source software and communities
  • Enjoys speaking at conferences and developer communities
  • Relevant certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
