Senior Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our team in Platform Services and Emerging Technology's Developer Enablement DevRel group. The developer enablement organization's mission within platform services is to provide developers with the tools and support they need to build high-quality applications that meet our requirements.

This includes enabling developers to create, test, and deploy software applications using Autodesk developer tools. The DevRel team promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration to create a community of enabled developers, empowering them to take ownership of their work and contribute to our success.

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will represent developer needs within the APAC/EMEA regions by providing technical support, building and maintaining developer enablement solutions, and working with partner platform teams to ensure the platform meets their needs. This role is based in Ireland and reports to a Senior Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help application teams standardize service deployment configuration and process.
  • Assist in accelerating deployment duration for application teams.
  • Work closely with application teams to onboard internal developer platforms.
  • Provide technical support to developers using platform services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform meets their needs.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials for the platform.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing resources within cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • 5+ years of experience automating software development lifecycle with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, CloudBees, and Spinnaker.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning and automation tools like Terraform.
  • Good hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or involvement in open-source software and communities.
  • Relevant certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
