Events Operations Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in wedding and events management. The ideal candidate will be highly effective in leading a team, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining the highest standards across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all wedding, banquet, and event operations within the hotel
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all functions to ensure exceptional quality
  • Coordinate closely with various departments, including kitchen, bar, front office, and sales
  • Act as primary point of contact for wedding couples and event clients, ensuring seamless delivery of services
  • Deliver clear service briefings and supervise staff during events
  • Support team training on service standards, guest care, and food & beverage knowledge
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized working environment
  • Handle any incidents or issues during service professionally and efficiently
  • Contribute to stock, rota, and cost control where necessary
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel or equivalent, with a hospitality qualification being advantageous
  • Proven experience in managing weddings and private functions
  • Strong leadership skills in high-volume service environments
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards
  • Full legal right to work in Ireland
