As a senior loan officer, you will be responsible for managing external client relationships and coordinating trade settlements in various loan syndications.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the bank loan market and be able to communicate effectively with business partners and trading counterparts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating expertise in trade settlement processes for loan syndications, secondary trades, CLOs, restructurings, and private placements.
  • Maintaining accurate knowledge of relevant portfolios and deal documentation to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Serving as primary point of contact for clients and interacting with administrative agents regarding KYC documentation and other matters.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contributing to the development of the loan closing team.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio management, attorneys, compliance, finance, technology, custodians, fund administrators, agent banks, and trading counterparts.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics, or commensurate work experience.
  • Ability to research and resolve complex problems independently.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg performance systems.
  • Experience working with syndicated loans, preferably with settlement of trades on par, distressed, LSTA, and LMA documents, as well as trade claims.
