Store Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing the daily activities of a busy retail store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives.
  • Assist in the supervision and development of staff, ensuring they meet performance standards.
  • Conduct stock control, ordering and management tasks.
  • Implement health and safety protocols and security measures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising displays.
  • Ensure the store is ready for operation each day, adhering to company standards.
  • Maintain high-quality product display across all departments.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Deliver effective staff training and development programs.
  • Promote security awareness within the team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a trainee manager in a fast-paced supermarket environment.
  • Previous experience within a supermarket setting is desirable.
  • HACCP certification.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the retail grocery industry and current trends.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience in staff training and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
