Job Overview

The role of Technical Coordinator involves supporting the technical aspects of food manufacturing. Key responsibilities include generating and maintaining product specifications, reviewing artwork and packaging for compliance with legislation and customer requirements, and providing technical information to Sales & Marketing teams.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Generate and maintain product specifications in line with customer and company requirements, ensuring databases are kept up-to-date.
  • Review and approve artwork, packaging, claims and declarations for compliance with legislation and customer requirements.
  • Physically verify packaging, labelling and artwork prior to first production runs.
  • Liaise with customer technical contacts to ensure specifications and artwork meet both customer and legal standards.
  • Provide technical information to Sales & Marketing teams within agreed timelines.
  • Support supplier approval processes, ensuring packaging, raw material, intermediate and factored goods specifications are maintained and documented.
  • Organise nutritional analysis and shelf-life testing to support specification writing.
  • Actively participate in customer and 3rd party audits, supporting preparation and on-the-day requirements.
  • Contribute to traceability and mass balance exercises.
  • Take ownership of technical and quality projects, ensuring accuracy and completion.
