Job Title:

Civil, Structural & Architectural Project Management Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage the financial, contractual, and commercial aspects of civil, structural and architectural packages on large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maximum commercial benefit for the company and will entail a cradle to grave delivery from tender stage through to final accounts and all-encompassing duties in between.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting, reporting, developing BOQ's and profit plans
  • Interim commercial meetings with the Client and Internal Project Team, detailing project commercial status to the Project Manager
  • Subcontractor account management, interim valuations, and final accounts, processing payment certificates and making payments according to agreed terms
  • Contract administration and meeting Client requirements, issuing interim and final accounts and progress applications as required
  • Potential commercial risks identification and prompt reporting to Senior Management, following direction in undertaking work duties
  • A practical understanding of scheduling and commercial implications, close collaboration with Planning Engineer regarding accuracy of progress reporting
  • Costing and agreeing daily work changes, managing subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks, and site change orders
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing
Requirements:
  • 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying
  • Prior work placement experience advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong knowledge of CSA construction methods, contracts (NEC, FIDIC, JCT), and procurement processes
  • Analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Excellent records keeping and administration skills
