Role Summary

This is a senior management position overseeing the operations of food and beverage services. The successful candidate will have expertise in leading teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for consistent delivery of high-quality customer service through effective SOPs.
  • Ensure that the department maintains a professional image among customers and team members.
  • Address customer feedback, including complaints and compliments, relevant to your areas of responsibility.
  • Control payroll costs by managing rotas according to forecasted and actual business levels.
  • Supervise the department to ensure efficient operation on a day-to-day basis while maintaining company brand standards consistently with attention to detail.
  • Comply with statutory and company requirements for health and safety, food safety, risk assessment, licensing laws, disability, and employment legislation.
  • Contribute to new promotional opportunities to enhance departmental sales, meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Maintain all department team members' focus on sales and provide ongoing training as required, submitting records for senior manager review.
  • Stay knowledgeable about all food and beverage menus in cooperation with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
  • Actively upsell throughout customer interactions and train team members to do so.
  • Conduct yourself professionally and courteously at all times.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules for dining areas.
  • Read, understand, and comply with your responsibilities outlined in the Health and Safety statement and Staff Handbook.
  • Complete HACCP and daily cleaning tasks, maintaining standards.
  • Participate actively in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels.
  • Implement the company's customer relations policy.
  • Communicate the company's services as required.
  • Be punctual for duty, arriving in full clean uniform and wearing a name badge at all times.
  • Upkeep personal hygiene and grooming to the highest standards.Essential Skills and Qualifications
