Grid Operations Specialist

The role of Grid Manager encompasses responsibility for the creation, dissemination and delivery of grid strategy. This includes connection applications, delivery, commissioning and optimisation across the portfolio.
This position requires strong knowledge of UK and Ireland grid connections, testing & compliance process, as well as management and optimisation of grid connection process at all stages from initial site selection, feasibility assessment and connection application submission, through offer process, design and functional specification to construction, commissioning/testing, energization and commercial operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Vast knowledge of UK and Ireland grid connections, testing & compliance process.
- Strong understanding of all grid matters that affect value drivers (e.g. constraints, curtailments, firmness, TLAFs, etc.).
- Proven ability to work independently to deadlines, seeking guidance from other team members when required.
- Strong experience dealing with stakeholders on different sides of grid connection process e.g. TSO/DSO/Equipment Manufacturers/Electrical Contractors.
