Employee Relations & Culture

Governance & Collaboration

- Ensure timely and accurate communication with key stakeholders.
Additional Duties
- Participate in senior management meetings and outreach activities supporting council initiatives.
- Deliver on specific projects as assigned.
- Ensure the effective management of human resources budgets.
- Provide leadership and support to the wider human resources team in adapting to evolving organisational structures.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum qualification at level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of 5 years satisfactory experience in a senior human resource management role with demonstrable experience in employee and industrial relations.
- Hold a current full class B driver's license and access to own car.
Desirable Skills
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR systems, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic HR initiatives and manage change.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the tourism, public, or service sectors.
- Familiarity with digital HR platforms and data analytics tools.
