Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Associate Director in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for career advancement and leadership growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a local team of bridge engineering professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Drive business development through strategic project management and bid-winning strategies.
  • Conduct thorough resource planning to ensure successful project delivery and meet deadlines.
  • Provide expert design input and oversee the structural aspects of projects, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Manage medium and large-sized projects, effectively coordinating teams and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and colleagues.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support for their growth and development.
  • Assist in undertaking the duties of the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from a technical perspective, demonstrating expertise and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Previous staff management experience, with a track record of success.
  • Proactive approach, delivering high-quality services to clients in both public and private sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in bridge design, inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation.
  • Proficient in Eurocodes and structural analysis software (MIDAS Civil or LUSAS).
  • Experience in designing and refurbishing concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
  • Proven experience working within multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and cooperation.
  • Ireland and/or UK experience, with a strong understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
