Clinical Nurse Manager Infection Prevention

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of infection prevention and control policies and procedures across Vhi Health And Wellbeing Dac.
As a Clinical Nurse Manager Infection Prevention, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
You will also be responsible for providing education and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices, and for promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement within the organisation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implementing a comprehensive standardised IPC service in line with the Health & Wellbeing (H&W )IPC annual programme.
- Providing expert advice and support to all members of both clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Maintaining a comprehensive, efficient, and effective IPC service by assessing, identifying, developing, implementing, and evaluating KPIs.
Person Specification:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 5 years post registration experience in a relevant field.
- A recognised post-registration nursing course in Infection Control.
