Development Director Role

The Development Director position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and drive the delivery of transformative residential and regeneration development opportunities across the country.

This diverse role requires a solutions-orientated and results-focused individual with a wide breadth of knowledge and experience across the full development lifecycle, including leading cross-functional teams and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Lead and drive the delivery of a portfolio of development projects across the full development lifecycle.
  • Take ownership of each development's commercial viability and ensure schemes advanced are aligned with development briefs and objectives.
  • Set out proposed development strategies and the supporting rationale and investment case.

The successful candidate will have direct people management responsibilities and will have a proven ability to lead and inspire professionals at all stages of their career.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' experience in the various stages of the property development sector, hold a recognised degree-level qualification in construction or development, and possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and technical knowledge of planning systems and construction buildability.

This is a key leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering developments of scale, who can maintain core values at all times.
