Job Description

As a Director of Environmental Services, you will lead our housekeeping and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. Your passion for delivering exceptional services will inspire your team to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage and supervise staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Operations: Perform and lead teams in light and heavy housekeeping duties across varying shifts.
  • Training and Quality Control: Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records using software.
  • Communication: Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate effectively.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision.
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
