Plant Operations Director


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operations Director to lead the launch, scale-up, and full operations of our brand-new manufacturing facility in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for embedding operational excellence, building a top-tier leadership team, and driving site success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Launch and Scale-Up: Oversee the successful launch and scale-up of our manufacturing facility, ensuring timely completion and exceeding performance targets.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction across all plant functions, including Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and HSE, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Team Development: Build a high-performing site team from the ground up, developing and coaching your leadership and technical teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Safety Culture: Champion a zero-harm safety culture, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, environmental, and health & safety standards.
  • Performance Management: Deliver daily performance and long-term operational strategy through robust planning, cost control, and resource allocation.

Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years' leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of full-site operational responsibility.
  • P&L Management: Demonstrated success managing P&L performance, people leadership, and technical operations in a large-scale production setting.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of engineering, production, maintenance, and supply chain processes.
  • Educational Background: Degree-qualified in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
