We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to manage the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services required for maintenance operations.
  2. Managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing, and adherence to quality standards.
  3. Collaborating with the maintenance team to forecast requirements and minimize downtime of plant and equipment.
  4. Developing and maintaining an approved supplier list in line with company policy and statutory requirements.
  5. Preparing and issuing purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and resolving discrepancies or delays.
  6. Tracking procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and lead times.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in procurement, preferably in maintenance, facilities, or engineering.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of Irish health & safety and procurement compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
